Mouse Controller does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, servers, ads or analytics.
How the Apps Communicate
- The iPhone app and the Mac app talk directly to each other over your local network. No internet connection is needed.
- The connection is encrypted with a key derived from your pairing code, so others on the same network can't see what you type or control your Mac.
- Only control commands are sent, such as cursor movement, clicks, keys and volume.
Permissions
- iPhone: Local Network, to find and connect to your Mac.
- Mac: Accessibility, to move the cursor, click and type on your behalf.
The App Does Not
- Collect personal information
- Track users
- Use analytics or advertising services
- Send data to slon3studio or any external server
- Store a history of what you type or do
