Slippy is a calculator for waiters and cashiers. Hold a card slip or receipt up to the camera, and Slippy reads the final amount and adds it to your total. No more typing in every slip by hand at the end of a long shift.

How it works

Point the camera at a slip and line it up in the frame. Slippy reads only the text inside the frame, scores every number it finds by keywords like TOTAL or SKUPAJ, currency and position, and skips dates, percentages, VAT and subtotals. When the same amount is read a few frames in a row, it's added to your sum with a tap of haptic feedback. Move the slip away and the next one is ready to scan, even if it has the same amount.
